Impressive, technically precise and elegant – a true watchmaking masterpiece. An eye-catching addition to any prestigious room. Standing at 2.6 m tall, the striking Maxima Lunaris has filled the niche between precision pendulum clocks of normal size and the monumental Maxima Secunda. Its name is derived from the moon, which is depicted on its dial in an extraordinary aesthetic design. With a diameter of 5 cm, the moon on the hand-painted pane shines over the numeral "6". Its crowning glory is that it also functions as a moon phase indicator. The anodised aluminium dial draws plenty of attention not only on account of its considerable diameter of 57.6 cm, but also thanks to its fascinating cutaway under the numeral "12", which allows a glimpse of the escapement under the small second hand. Classically shaped hands indicate the hour and minute. It goes without saying that the Maxima Lunaris meets the high standards you would expect from the Erwin Sattler manufacture. As a precision pendulum clock accurate to the second, it features temperature and airpressure compensation with a twin barometer, jewel bearings in goldplated, screwed-in chatons, agate anchor pallets and stainless steel ball bearings. Its compensation pendulum swings in a gentle rhythm every 1.36 seconds – a harmonious cycle which wonderfully complements the striking yet elegant appearance of the Maxima Lunaris. To draw attention to the detailed beauty of the movement, integrated lighting ensures that it is illuminated particularly brightly through the cutaway in the dial. For private rooms or business premises, the Maxima Lunaris embodies elegance and taste as well as technical finesse and perfection. A work of art from the Erwin Sattler manufacture.
